A Better Texas
Meet Tayhlor
More than 150 years ago my family were leaders in the Republican Party, right here in Washington County, Texas. They built their American Dream here after emancipation, where they fought to raise their families and stand up for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Some of them even died standing up for what they believed in.
Four years ago I moved into a van to honor that sacrifice. And I set out to register Texans to vote here, in the state that I love. Since then, I've met Texans of all stripes who are sick and tired of the divisiveness and corruption they see in DC. I found that many weren't motivated to participate in a political system that isn't tackling big ideas and doesn't seem like it's working for them.
And I get it. Politics is broken. It's not working because the politicians we've been sending to DC only care about their own power and lining their own pockets.
So I'm running for Congress to fix what broke DC.
I won't take a dime of Corporate PAC money. I'll push for ten year term limits. And I'll sign on to Chip Roy's TRUST in Congress Act to ban members of Congress and their families from insider trading on Day One because I'll work with anyone to clean up Congress so we can finally focus on working together to build a bigger and better American Dream for anyone who wants to build a life in Central Texas just like my family did.
I don't have a big fancy campaign office or billionaire donors backing me, but I do have my van Barb. And over the course of this campaign my van will be my mobile campaign HQ as I drive every country road, stop at every farmers market, and hit every rodeo to talk to the Texans that DC has forgotten about.
Can't wait to see you out there,
